The KAIST Graduate School of Information and Media Management (KSIM) was established in March, 2006, building on its 10 years of experience and know-how in the field of IT and media management. Having been selected by the Korea’s Ministry of Information and Communication as an institution to take the leading role in producing globally competitive IT & Media professionals, KSIM received financial support of 3 billion won from the ministry between 2006 and 2009.
The KSIM MBA program has integrated the KAIST’s previous MIS-MBA and Telecom MBA programs to create the IT and Media industry-specialized MBA program. To suit the rapidly changing IT and Media industries, KSIM MBA’s curriculum is offered in one-year, intensive mode and , to nurture global learning capability, overseas filed trip is mandatory and most of the courses are taught n English. We at KSIM are confident that KSIM MBAs will lead the future IT/Media digital convergence paradigm worldwide as well as in Korea.
