On gravitational waves and white dwarfs and neutron stars중력파와 중성자별, 백색왜성의 고찰

String theory is the theory of everything. Since Goldstone bosons can arise in superstring theories in the same multiplet as the graviton and the dilaton, detecting the emission of Goldstone boson by gravitational wave of binary pulsar will be a good method to test its reality. To understand I studied general relativity and gravitational wave as a corner stone. I studied states of white dwarf and neutron star where high density physics and cold dense matter physics appear. I solved the Einstein equation for binary objects with the Keplerian motion, and calculated the radiated power and its angular distribution. From the equilibrium and stability conditions for high density fluid including general relativistic effects, I calculated limit masses of white dwarfs and neutron stars. For white dwarfs, it is $1.5M_?$ and for neutron stars, $3-5M_?$. If one assumes stiff equation of state for a neutron star, its value is reduced to $1.2 - 1.5M_?$.
