A new magnetic field inhomogeneity correction method for water-fat separation NMR imaging is proposed and the experimental results obtained with KAIS 2.0 T NMR imaging system are presented. In water-fat separation imaging, the most important problem is the magnetic field inhomogeneity effect, which causes overlapping of the water signal to the fat signal or vice versa. By this inhomogeneity correction technique the water and fat can be separated almost completely. That is verified both with a sample object and a human head.
