디지탈 음성응답기 개발연구 : 소프트웨어 시뮬레이션Development of digital audio(voice) response system : software simulation
본 논문에서는 RELP algorithm을 사용한 voice response system에 관하여 연구하였다. 주된 목적은 적당한 용량의 memory를 사용하여 높은 음질의 음성을 합성해 낼 수 있는 system을 구성하고, 어휘의 다양성과 system의 flexibility를 보장하도록 하는데에 있었다. 본 논문에서 사용된 RELP algorithm에서는 2bit APCM을 사용하여 residual을 coding하였고, 각 parameter들을 정확히 quantization함으로써 coding효과를 줄였다. 또한 pitch predictive loop을 사용함으로써 출력음성의 음질을 높였다. 본 논문에서 구성한 voice response system은 전화국에서 전화번호 문의에 응답할 수 있도록 구상되었다. 택해진 vocabulary들을 preparation하는 과정과, 목적에 맞는 message composition algorithm이 연구되었다.
