A biobarcode assay incorporated microdevice for highly sensitive and multiplex biological agent detection

Abstract

Early detection of biological agents is an important issue to prevent widespread damages in bioterrorism. Biobarcode assay would be an ideal platform for rapid, sensitive, and multiplex analysis of biological agents, and its combination with lab-on-a-chip technology can provide a next-generation portable analytical tool. We reported an integrated microdevice that incorporates a biobarcode assay to simultaneously detect multiplex biological agents.
