Synthesized graphene has been focused for its outstanding electrical, optical, and mechanical properties. However, the adhesion energy of graphene/substrate and alternative transfer processes have been attracted little attention. In this dissertation, Adhesion measurement of graphene with UV/ozone treated condition and various metal thin films deposited will be presented. Adhesion transparency through single-layer graphene (SLG) will be explained between deposited metal thin film and substrate beneath graphene layer. Double cantilever beam (DCB) fracture mechanics testing was used for the adhesion measurement. After that, polymer-free graphene transfer using a 300micrometer-thick graphene/copper freestanding film will be presented. Finally, mechanically controlled graphene transfer printing using elastomeric stamp will be demonstrated. The effects with the peeling rate and the modulus of the stamp were investigated. We believe that these researches can be the breakthrough to the mass production of graphene electronic devices.
