유기 박막 태양전지는, 기판과, 기판 위에 형성되고, 요철 표면을 가지는 텍스쳐링 필름(texturing film)을 포함한다. 요철 표면은 유기 박막 태양전지에 포함된 광 활성층 내부에서의 빛의 이동거리를 증가시킬 수 있다.
